Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is coming down on Big Tech for their continued bias against conservative voices.
During a hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, the Texas Republican clashed with Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) over social media’s recent attempt to limit users based on political affiliation.
Whitehouse argued that tech companies had the right to limit information they believed to be false, which Cruz said could cause different opinions to be labeled as disinformation and, thus, face censorship.
The more power accumulates, the more emboldened & brazen they become. ’s recent decision to remove content alleging voter fraud is just the latest example of that.

Additionally, Cruz requested to co-sponsor legislation introduced by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) to amend Section 230 to limit the liability shield under the Communications Act of 1934.
. owned officially announcing free speech no longer allowed. If you have concerns about election integrity, you must sit down and shut up. Repeal Section 230 and break these companies up
