PREZ LEAVES WALTER REED: People Shouldn’t Be “Afraid” of Corona, says Trump

PRESIDENT Donald Trump returned to the White House in Washington DC on Monday via the Presidential Helicopter Marine One after leaving Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre in Bethesda, Maryland where he had spent the last three nights after testing positive for COVID-19.

President Trump had announced he would be leaving the hospital a few hours prior on Twitter. “I will be leaving the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M.

He added: “Feeling really good! Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!”.

The president addressed the nation, saying that people shouldn’t be “afraid” of the coronavirus, praising hospital’s staff and assuring the citizens that the vaccines were coming “momentarily.”

“Get out there, be careful, we have the best medicines in the world,” stressed Trump.

Donald Trump was admitted into hospital after testing positive for COVID-19 on Friday. Multiple people around the US President have also tested positive for the disease, including first lady Melania Trump and former White House adviser Kellyanne Conway.
